Now after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb. And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it. His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow. And the guards shook for fear of him, and became like dead men. But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you.” So they went out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring His disciples word. (Matthew 28:1-8 NKJV)
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11

Camping!
So our family is getting into this camping business. :) We went halfway camping over Spring Break and for Joe's birthday, but now we are really getting into it.
Being married to an avid hunter and outdoorsman has definitely taught me a thing or two. And it definitely has taught Joe a thing or two...we must damp in style! We are taking my sad's bumper pull and camp out in McLean! We are so excited and so thankful we get to use this. I'll post a picture soon of our camping situation. It's sure to be a fun and successful weekend. :)
In the meantime, checkout our camping buddy!

Fun at Chuckee Cheese!
Gage was invited to a birthday party last weekend and we had so much fun!! Beau B. was turning 3 and having his party at Chuckee Cheese. I was so excited that we got to go help celebrate Beau's big day! This was one of Gage's first real birthday parties to be invited to and he's at such a fun age! (When isn't a fun age though!!)
Gage was real sure about going to the party, (I didn't realize he was getting sick at the time!) but once we got there and started playing games he had so much fun. We played Frog games, Dog Pounder, raced cars and had a blast! Once he figured out you play a game, get a ticket, and get a prize at the end, it was on! Gage won the jackpot on one game! I wouldn't even call it a game really. You put your token in and it goes down a thin, narrow slide into a spinning wheel and whatever number you land on that's how many tickets you get (see, not a real game). ;) But he wanted to do it, so thats what we did. We did this a couple of times and I was telling Gage that we needed to do another game when he put another token in and won the jackpot!!! All of a sudden the game started flashing and making loud sounds and tickets galore started shooting out of the machine! The look on his face was priceless and hilarious! He didn't know what to think! People said "Wow! He's lucky, take him to Vegas!" I said "No, he's not lucky, he's BLESSED!"
We ended up having a great time at the party and enjoyed eating pizza, having cake and helping our friend Beau celebrate his big day!

Gavin is 2 months!!
Gavin is 2 months old and I have enjoyed spending every moment home with him. Time has gone by fast, yet not really. From the moment I knew I was pregnant he had my heart. I loved feeling him move inside my belly, even if it did hurt at times. :) I loved having sonograms just so I could see his tiny face. The day we found out whether he was a boy or girl, I was so excited. I was getting a sneak peek of an amazing gift from God.
At 2 months of age Gavin is cooing with us more, has one of the biggest smiles I've seen and stays awake longer periods of the day. I love watching Gage interact with him. Gavin just smiles at Gage and it fills my heart with JOY. God has truly blessed Joe and I with two amazingly sweet and loving boys. We are abundantly blessed!
Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, The fruit of the womb is a reward. (Psalms 127:3 NKJV)

Happy Birthday My Love!
Today is my amazing husband's birthday and we are in McLean celebrating! Right at this very moment, Gage is sleeping, I'm holding Gavin while he is sleeping and Joe is in his chair resting. We have been having so much fun fishing, riding 4 wheelers and trying to catch a beaver! This is so much fun, the weather is perfect and I'm glad we are here on Joe's birthday!
As we all rest I'm listening to the beautiful sounds that God has blessed this earth with. The songs of the birds singing, the wind rustling the trees and the bees buzzing around (wish they weren't buzzing around me!!). What a magnificent time this is! Glory to God!
I am so thankful for all that God has blessed me with. An amazing husband, who loves me unconditionally, two beautiful boys, whose hearts are full of happiness and joy, and this time with them as a family of four. My cup runneth over and I know that God had blessed me more abundantly than I could even ask or think. Thank you Jesus for this precious time!
