2. That we have what we say. 

3. That my friend Sharon came to visit my church tonight. 

4. My amazing husband--he is a mighty man of God and I am so blessed to be married to him.

5. That Joe shows me everyday how much he loves me. 

6. My church--we are fed God's Word and I love it! 

7. My sister Jonna--she is an overcomer and I'm so proud of her. 

8. Gage giving me a sweet kiss before bed tonight. 

9. Rocking Gavin to sleep. I want this time to last forever. ❤ 

10. My friends and how they pray with me and are strong Christian friends. 

11. My Bible--it's God breathed. 

12. The word that I am getting for the retreat. 

13. The confirmation of Ignite! 

14. That my heart is Ignited for GOD!! 

15. That Joe put gas in my car tonight after church. 

16. For my future--I know it's a good one!!

17. My job and the teachers I work with.

Fun at the Fair

Last month (yes, I know I'm behind on this post), we took Gage and Gavin to the Fair. It was so fun! Mainly for the food, it's always sooo good! We took them out there so they could see the animals. I was excited to see tha animals were out and walking around. Kids were everywhere petting the animals and feeding them. It was pretty neat. Gage loves animals so he had a lot of fun. 

He's feeding a goat here. Pretty cool huh?! This goat stuck his mouth into the cup and ate and ate. He was strong too! 

I love this picture because these deer were just so close to him and he was happy. It's just neat to see animals like this up close. 

Even Gavin got into the fun! He thought they were pretty neat too. 

And of course my sweet boy loves to ride the ponies. He had a blast at the Fair! 

Tonight I am thankful for...

1. The memories Joe and I are creatingwith our  children. 

2. God's animals that he has placed here on this Earth for us to enjoy. 

3. For the teachers I worked with today. Each and everyone are hard workers. 

4. God's Word that says we are blessed with every spiritual blessing.

5. Revelation knowledge that I receive while preparing for the Women's retreat next week. 

6. Every woman that will be attending the retreat. 

7. That I was able to be home tonight with my boys and relax. 

8. Playing trains with Gage. He's so into them right now. 

9. Watching Gavin learn new things everyday. He's growing so fast. 

10. My home--that it is peaceful, lived in and full of love. 

11. Pictures!! I love capturing memories and having them displayed in my home. 

12. My bed--I'm in it right now and snuggled next to the most amazing man ever! ❤

13. My friend Patti who bought my lunch today! Thank you Patti!!

16. Joe went to Braum's tonight and got milk and juice on the way home from work. What a huge help this is! 

17. Watching how Gage and Gavin interact together.

20. I'm thankful for Pammy and that she works with Gage on his numbers and letters. 

21. Sleep...I will be there soon.

Proverbs 31 Woman

Tonight my Bible study group finished studying the Proverbs 31 woman. All I can say is WOW! What an amazing blessing this has been learning how God sees us and how we are to be towards our husbands and children. There is so much to being a Proverbs 31 woman, that it can seem that we may never be that, but as woman we already are!!!! God doesn't equip us to leave us out to be alone. He loves us and if we will press in to Him our lives can and will change. I'm honored to be a Proverbs 31 Woman. Take the time to study this virtuous woman. You will be blessed! 

1. I am so thankful for my sweet husband Joe. I was able to see him at work today and that makes my day. 

2. I am thankful for Joe watching the boys on Monday so I can go to Bible study. 

3. My Bible study group--sooo many beautiful women who come together I learn God's word. 

4. Sweet Kathy--her voice was STRONG and LOUD tonight! SHE IS HEALED! 

5. My friend Susan and the Word that she sends me each day. She keeps me encouraged. 

6. Gage--how at bedtime he runs to my room to sleep in my bed instead of his. :) 

7. Gavin--for his eyes and how they light up when they see me, Gage or Joe. 

8. Gavin--how he loves his brother so. ❤ 

9. God's Word--that is Word is real and it's alive! No one can talk me out of it! 

10. The authority I have as a believer in Christ Jesus!!!! 

11. My friend Mindy and her passion for life. She is ALWAYS upbeat and has a positive outlook on life. 

12. Mindy--and that we share a love and passion of Jesus. 

13. The swing set in our backyard. Watching Gage and Gavin go down the slide is so fun. I love their smiles. 

14. Snuggle Puppy--this is a book and song Gage goes to sleep listening to each night. Even when it isn't playing I'm humming or singing it to myself. A comforting song. 

15. That I am a daughter of THE KING! 

16. That my family and I serve The Lord! 

17. My bed!! How comfortable and soft the sheets are. 

18. Books--I wish I had more time to read. 

19. The Bible--I LOVE reading my Bible and learning how to apply God's word in my life. Amazing! 

20. I am thankful I am a Christian and I can celebrate Jesus each day. 

21. Caramel Vanilla Creme coffee!!! Need I say more?? 

22. Chai Tea Lattes!!! Again...need I sat more? 

23. The friends I have in my life. Thank you for being genuine and for praying for me. 

24. My sister and that she text me this morning just to say hi. Made my day! 

25. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. I am so glad to live in Texas! 

26. Different sermons that I listen to from Andrew Wokmack and Kenneth Copeland. Powerful stuff!! 

27. Bedtime...I'm off to sleep now.

Being an architect

Tonight has been fun watching Gage build. We spend all this money on toys and what makes him happy is 2 x 4s and 4 X 4s. Awesome! He's figuring out size, depth, what fits and what doesn't. I love it!  I didn't get a picture of this, but he also built a tent. He had a lot of fun!!! 

Gavin was right in the mix of it all. He's learning to interact and play with Gage and its fun to see. I see a future of many more dad of block building and tent making with these two. ❤ 

Things I'm thankful for today. 

1. That we are right this second stopped at a train track in Canyon so Gage can watch a train rumble past. I love it when we see trains in Canyon. 

2. For my bed. I am ready to be in it!! 

3. Sunday worship at Tascosa Road. 

4. For the 2nd train we are seeing tonight!!!! They are LOUD!!!!!!! 

5. For the smiles coming from the backseat because of the train driving past. 

6. My in laws--how they love my sweet boys so. 

7. Canyon, TX--How quiet this town is at night. (Besides the trains) 

8. Joe--that he supports me and loves me so much and always has my back. ❤

9. Gavin's screams--he is learning to scream like his brother. I'm not sure this is a good thing. Lol! 

10.  Revelation knowledge--I love that God speaks to us through His Word. 

11. Wal Mart--I think I'm going I start shopping in Canyon. There's less people there. :) 

12. For not getting a ticket tonight by the Canyon police. They can be cranky sometimes. 

13. The 700 Club--The hosts had a word of knowledge for my friend Kathy. She is healed. 

14. Ignite Conference 2013!!! I'm excited for the Word God has for us. Lives are going to change!

15. My friend Patti--she is an amazing friend and I'm so thankful for her. More than she knows. 

16. My job--tomorrow I will work with an awesome co-worker and teachers. 

17. My future--God has great things planned for me and my family! 

18. My Sunday School class Relate--I love the friendships we are building in there. 

19. Music! It's the way God speaks to me. 

20. Candy Land--Gage's class at church. 

21. The sweet ladies in Gavin's nursery at church. 

22. Pammy!!! Oh how we love you so!! ❤❤❤

23. Pak-a-Sak and decaf sweet teas. 

24. My handsome hubby! He looks pretty good driving us home. :) 

25. Bible study--I'm excited for all I'm learning and I'm looking forward to a great lesson tomorrow.

Being Thankful!

This summer I was introduced to a blog 10KReasons.  If you have never visited this blog before I highly suggest you do.  Then share it with someone you know.  Sarah Blount's story is one of strength, seeking the Lord and most of all being thankful.

As we are in a new season of holidays (Thanksgiving and Christmas), we have much to be thankful for.  So I'm going to do my best every day to post 27-28 reasons why I am thankful.  It is my hope that when you read these lists, you will think about your own life and all that you have to be thankful for.

So here's my first list...

1.  JESUS!  And the victory that we have IN HIM!
2.  Today Joe made a fire in the fireplace for me and kept it burning all day.  He did this because he knows I like it so much.  :-)
3.  Seeing Gage get so excited to spend time with his Daddy.
4.  Gavin's smile and all the talking he is starting to do.
5.  My home and the peace that is here. 
6.  That we were all in bed by 9:00pm.
7.  Today I helped my sweet sister in law with a baby shower for her first baby, who will be in our family the first part of December.  I am excited to meet her and hold this sweet blessing from God.
8.  My mom and dad and how much they love our family.  They are precious to me.
9.  Blankets.  I love to wrap up in blankets...soft blankets that is.
10.  My Bible.  I love being able to open up God's Word and hear God speak to me.
11.  Proverbs 31: 10-31.  I am learning so much about the Proverbs 31 woman.  I AM a Proverbs 31 woman!
12.  Women of Destiny--our women's ministry at church.  Such beautiful women!
13.  Seeing my husband finish his notes for his lesson tomorrow.  He leads our Sunday School class and always has a powerful word from God.
14.  My sister Jonna.  She is a beautiful person and I love her so much.
15.  Warm Chai Tea Lattes--need I say more?
16.  The moment tonight when Joe and Gage were reading the Bible together, I was holding Gavin giving him a bottle and the fireplace blazing.  What a beautiful time that was.  One I will cherish forever.
17.  My church, Tascosa Road Fellowship.
18.  Pastor Jay.  He is a wonderful pastor who is anointed to teach God's Word.  I have learned SO much from him.
19.  Being able to listen to Christian music.
20.  When my boys sleep in my bed with me.  I love these sweet times.
21.  My job and the people that I work with.  They truly are blessings to me.
22.  Family pictures!!  I LOVE THEM!!
23.  I am thankful for the Legos on my living room floor.  That means that my boys were imagining and building.  Fun was happening!
24.  My big backyard--Gage and Joe played together today and I could her sweet laughter coming from them both.
25.  Joe--he is an amazing Daddy.  He played hide and seek with Gage today and they swung together on the swingset.  Such a sweet picture with BIG smiles coming from both.
26.  My new washer and dryer! I love how clean my clothes get.
27.  The smell of cookies coming from my kitchen.  That means bellies are full and I will have two people so happy to have a sweet treat.
28.  THE WORD OF GOD!  "Give thanks to the Lord for He is good!  For His mercy endures forever!" 1 Chronicles 16:34

Gavin is 9 months old!

Man how time has flown by! My sweet Gavie is 9 months old and has changed so much. Now I can already take his picture with the numbers because he won't sit still. He is awesome! 

Gavin has 6 teeth, crawls everywhere and is starting to show signs of curly hair. We wonder if his hair will be curly like Gage's. Gavin can pull himself up to a standing position now and it's so neat to watch. He's getting so big. He weighs at least 21 pounds (from last time I took him to dr, which was at least 3 weeks ago). He has cute, chubby legs and I kiss them all the time. <3 He is tall too. He wears 12 month clothes right now. I cleaned out his drawer tonight of all 6-9 month clothes. Wow! It's hard to believe I'll be planning his 1st birthday soon.

Pumpkin Time! 🎃

Tonight Gage and I carved a pumpkin!! He has been asking every night this week and tonight was the night. Last year he and Joe carved one and this year was my turn. I love nights like these where we can be at home together and create a memory. Gavin was with us too, but he screamed more than participated. He was hungry. Ha! 

My intent was to toast the pumpkin seeds, but just carving the pumpkin and coloring it was good enough. Gage did a great job! He said he liked spooky faces. This is about as spooky as this mommy gets. 🎃

Time Flies!

Where has the time gone??  Gavin is 9 months old this month and crawling and just this week has started pulling himself up to stand all by himself.  He also is getting his 5th tooth!!!   He is such a good baby, because I didn't even know this 5th tooth was there until it had broken thorough and I saw it.  He sleeps through the night and we all are getting at least 6+ hours of sleep a night.  AMAZING!!  I am in LOVE with this precious blessing from God.  He is beautiful and amazing and I love him so much! <3

Gage Bennett is getting SO tall and his vocabulary is expanding so much everyday.  He brings such joy and life to our family.  I love his personality and his love for life!  He makes us so happy!  He is also such a good big brother!!!  He is so good with Gavin and is excited for Gavin to get bigger so they can play together.  He is so sweet and  I love him so much!!!  I see an amazing future ahead with these two as brothers.  I know they will be close and do a lot together.  God has blessed Joe and I so abundantly with a beautiful family.  Glory to God!  

It's been awhile since I posted last, but it's because I am finally getting to sleep at night.  I.LOVE.IT! Most of the posting I did before was in the middle of the night.  I am going to be better at posting again.  I'll just have to find another time.   :-)
