Having Child Like Faith

Each night as I tuck Gage into bed, I always pray for him. He'll sometimes even say "Pray for me." And as I pray he'll want to pray for coyotes, wolves, elephants, etc. At first I wasn't real quick to pray for those animals, but then God spoke to me and said, "It's his prayer. He has faith like a child" I'm so glad God did speak and I want to listen and obey. I still get verses in that I speak over Gage, but we also pray for the wolves, coyotes, elephants, and sometimes even lions. :)

I love these moments with my babies and I want to remember them always. I never want to take a moment for granted or not pay attention. So we will pray how Gage wants to pray. The important thing is, we are talking to God.

and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 18:3 NKJV)

The Sweetest Thing...

Last night Gavin was crying and Gage started singing to him. He sang Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star. He even made up a few verse of his own, "Twinkle, Twinkle, don't you cry" ❤ Gage is such a good big brother and loves Gavin so much! I am so proud of both my boys. They are blessed and highly favored!

Gavin is 3 months!!

My sweet Gavin is 3 months old! He's smiling, laughing, cooing, sucking on fingers, and watching everything! He is so fun and I love watching him grow. We went to his 2 month well visit checkup on April 4, 2013 (even though he was almost 3 months) and he is 26.5 inches long and weighed 14 pounds. That puts him in the 97% for height and 75% for weight. He's going to be tall just like his daddy and brother! ❤

Easter pictures

Gage wasn't too thrilled about having his picture taken, but he's just sooo cute! He's looking everywhere, but at the camera. I'm sure he's thinking, "hurry up mom!!" I have to have pictures though.

I didn't get any with him and Gavin together. Gavin was sleeping as we'd just got home from church and Gage wasn't going to stay in his church clothes until Gavin woke up. All Gage wanted to do was PLAY on this beautiful day. :)
